What’s to Come…..

I realize I have already missed a day of NaBloPoMo, and it is only the first week! I so wanted to write something yesterday, but was a little stumped on a topic. I guess you could say I had some writer’s block, which isn’t all that uncommon for me. Therefore, I have decided to really begin thinking about things to write about ahead of time. I want to be more aware of what is going on around me, in my community, and beyond. I know that in reality, there is almost an OVERabundance of things to write about. I just need to be more observant, aware, and proactive. I already have a few ideas roaming around in my head, but I still need to crystallize my thoughts, in order to effectively put them into words. Here are a few things that you can look forward to reading about on Legallyblondo.net over the coming week:

  • Showing grace in the small, everyday things.
  • Christians on Twitter: Can your followers tell you are a Christian by your tweets? Are you “set apart” on Twitter?
  • Two posts about friends of mine who have written books: Dancing on My Ashes by Heather Gilion, and Red Carpet Posture, by Dr. Paul Drew, an old high school classmate.
  • Photobucket

  • A post and review of Shadowland, an indie movie that was produced by a friend / acquaintance in St. Louis. It has won awards at several film festivals.
  • Another “Gettin’ Clicky With It” post, sharing several links that are fun, informative, and useful.
  • A couple of delicious and easy recipes.
  • A post about Casper’s 100 Year Anniversary celebration, which will take place tomorrow, downtown, Springfield, Missouri. I can’t WAIT to FINALLY try their chili. I have never been there before, but have heard only good things. I figure if it has been around for 100 years, their chili MUST be good!

I also would like to share an article that showed up in my Google Reader.   Chris Brogan presents nine tips for coming up with great ideas for blog posts. His article came at just the right time, considering my little episode of “writer’s block.”

Even though, I have already missed a day in the NaBloPoMo challenge, I am not giving up on making writing an everyday discipline. However, I would appreciate an occasional accountability check from my readers and fellow bloggers. Be sure to stop by my blog everyday (or at least a couple times a week) to make sure I am keeping up with the challenge!
